Pere Ventura embarked on the path of winemaking in 1992, when he decided to found his namesake winery in honor of his ancestor. Pere's family heritage associated with Cava dates back to 1872, when his great grandfather, Manuel Montserrat Font, helped to produce the first bottles of Cava at Codorniu.
Today, the family tradition lives on at the Pere Ventura wine estate, with the ultimate goal of producing Cava of the highest quality and elegance. With over 150 acres of estate vineyards and another 300 acres under long-term contract and fully controlled by their technical team, Pere Ventura believes that quality starts at the vineyard. The company’s vision is to remain true to its principles and sales commitments, to fulfill all its obligations and to be ready to meet all business challenges of the twenty-first century.
